The pool was a real draw, with comfortably warm water, and it was easy to walk to the beach in under eight minutes carrying our parasols and chairs. We had a great two weeks in this apartment, especially for the price. One thing to watch: Google Maps shows one Golden Gardens Apartment, but several are rented out, so you may get a different one. Ours was Booking.com Golden Gardens apartment 3. Inside, it was minimal but practical. We found the oven wasn't working on our first day, called it in, and someone fixed it the following morning. The apartment also came with its own parking space under the buildings, though getting a large car around the garage was quite difficult. We've known Xabia for a while and were glad to be back. It was obvious which people owned apartments and which were renting. The renters seemed much friendlier. I understand that owners see people coming and going and may not always like it, but we felt watched as soon as we arrived. So, read the rules by the pool! 7/10, would recommend.
