The week I visited in early March was cool and rainy, so I’m already looking forward to coming back in a warmer month and exploring the nearby coast and its mysterious towns. Azafran is well placed, about a 15-minute walk from everything I wanted to see. From the rooftop, which is easy to reach, the views across Jerez are breathtaking. I could almost touch the old San Mateo church from my apartment, and the view was wonderfully atmospheric. My apartment was simple and beautiful, with a very comfortable bed, heating, and top-quality kitchen utensils. The shower was superb. The antique house itself is lovely, with a pool in the center of the bar area. Hopefully the restaurant will open soon. Ramin, the friendly owner, was usually there to bring whatever drink you wanted, sometimes with a little tapa, and he made sure you had everything you needed. The longer it’s been since my stay at Azafran Jerez, the more nostalgic I feel. It was magical, the best place ever!

Such a cool, relaxing find in Jerez. We spent time by the pool with a drink, and the owner was very accommodating. Some music started up spontaneously after a while, which was a nice surprise. We’ll be back to try the restaurant.

Alba was super friendly, and so was the woman we handed the keys to. We were very happy with the stay and will definitely come back. The apartment was comfortable, with a really large bed and a modern, spacious bathroom and shower.

Jessica’s service was excellent, and the apartment was beautiful and distinctive, like the houses around it. We stayed during the festival and got exactly what we were looking for: close to the center but away from the busiest part, fairly quiet, and good value for money. We’d highly recommend it and would stay again.

The noise carried on until four in the morning, with singing and shouting from the bar below and out on the street. I wasn't laughing then, and I still think I was right. If you're hoping to relax, this is absolutely the wrong place. HORRIBLE.
