The breakfast staff were wonderful, but I wouldn’t come back. The furniture looked tired for a four-star hotel, and the doors made a horribly loud noise whenever guests let them close without holding them, loud enough to wake you even through earplugs. At check-in, we were sent to a garage across the street, but it was closed. We had to use another one 15 minutes away and pay 59 euros for parking over our two-night stay. Not the best experience.

We had a comfortable night at the NH Jerez and chose a lower-cost room facing inward, without a view. That was fine since we planned to explore the city rather than stay in the room. The bed was very comfortable, and the large shower was a welcome bonus. Breakfast was a reasonable buffet, though smaller than at other NH hotels I’ve stayed in. The breakfast room was small and there was a group there, but we still managed to get everything. Check-in was disappointing. The staff member stayed on the phone while checking me in, rushed through the information and made me feel unattended. It was a busy time with other people waiting, but I still expected some personal attention as the person paying for the room. The hotel is around a 20-minute walk from the old city, so the location is reasonable.

I stayed seven nights in March. The room was really spacious and had a balcony. The hotel stands beside a big road, but the noise wasn’t a problem. Comfortable, decent place.

The staff made all the difference. The hotel was clean and well located, and I’d stay again. In fact, I tried to book it a week later, but it was completely full. So there you have it. Joe B.
