The apartment has an access ramp, which is helpful, but the shower seat was broken and made using the shower very difficult. Getting to the pool is also quite inaccessible for wheelchair users. The kitchen utensils were limited, so cooking would be difficult on a longer stay. The setting is beautiful, right in the heart of the Jerte Valley. Still, there are accessibility and equipment issues to consider before booking, especially for anyone with reduced mobility.
Just outside Jerte, the apartment is well placed near the start of the Pilones route, with beautiful views. It's fantastic and fully equipped, and the staff were very friendly.
These cozy, separate apartments work well for families. You can set off on hiking trips from here to explore the Jerte Valley. The complex is gated and closed at night, with parking beside the apartment and a playground for children.
The views and location are beautiful, but the accommodation felt neglected and I wouldn't recommend it. The beds had wooden slat frames and were very uncomfortable, creaking whenever you moved. Most of the living room and bathroom furniture was broken, with handles missing.
The apartment had lovely views and was nice, but the mattresses sagged so badly that sleeping at night was impossible. The shower stall was tiny too.
