Los Cuatro Vientos B&B

The balcony gave us a lovely view of the Spanish countryside, and the room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a good bed. We stayed for one night in May and had a great time at Los Cuatro Vientos B&B. Richard and Steve made us feel welcome straight away. They’re very friendly and clearly do their best to make guests’ stays enjoyable. Breakfast was generous, with lots of treats and lovely presentation. We’d happily stay here again if we’re back in the area, and would definitely recommend it.

Pinoso is only about a 15-minute drive away, with plenty of restaurants, good food, and a nice atmosphere among the local people. But there’s no need to head out for dinner if you book one at the house, which was excellent. We loved the mountain view from the spacious balcony, especially at sunset with the birds singing. The rooms were clean and attractively decorated, with lots of thoughtful little details to notice. Breakfast was great too, served each morning with a beautiful view and a quiet atmosphere. Steve and Richard have made a lovely house in a peaceful area. We felt right at home and came away with a memorable stay. Thanks, Steve and Richard!

We booked three nights, and I’d suggest staying several days if you can. There’s time to explore the area, and Steve and Richard make you feel at home almost immediately. Sit and chat with them too, they have some great stories about their lives. The house is in lovely rural surroundings, so you’ll need a car or bicycle. Our upstairs balcony looked out over the area. Inside, the renovation is to a very high standard, with beautiful décor that mixes old and contemporary, local and international touches. There are interesting architectural details throughout, including wooden beams, exposed rock, and restored tiled floors. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. The bar is well stocked, and you can bring your own wine or liquor without paying corkage. We had dinner one evening. Steve is an excellent chef, and Richard served the meal wonderfully.

We could easily get to Jumilla and Pinoso from here, which made the location handy for wine lovers. The place itself is beautiful, cosy, and relaxing, a step above an average B&B. Richard and Steve welcomed us warmly, and breakfast was amazing. Dinner is available if booked ahead, and I’d recommend that too.
