Getting around was easy from here, with buses, the tram, bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by, and the beach about a 15-minute walk away. We stayed three weeks in January on half board in room 524, the Junior Suite. It was spacious, with a large lounge, an equally sized bedroom and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The bathroom had a big bath and a separate shower, and there were two TVs with English channels. Cleaners came every day. Both balconies looked over the pool and mountains, though they got no sun at that time of year. The hotel itself is impressive, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the dining room. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good. Dinner was less successful: the main courses were repetitive and not very appetising, so there’s room to improve. The bar was quiet, and the hotel was less busy because many rooms were being refurbished. There was evening entertainment once a week, which didn’t bother us. We did have a privacy concern about the locked connecting door from the lounge to the next-door bedroom. We hadn’t known about it and assumed that room would stay empty. The door was poorly fitted, with a large gap underneath, so sound could carry. When the hotel began arranging to use the room, we complained to the manager. He agreed to leave it vacant for our stay and kept his word. We’d happily come back.

The location was just right, with plenty nearby but without feeling too busy. Our room was beautiful and the cleaner made the bed each day. Breakfast had lots to choose from, prosecco included 😂, and the restaurant was lovely. The staff were friendly too. I’d definitely return.

We came with eight people for Christmas because we expected entertainment, but there was none at all over the holiday period. We won’t be back. The hotel was also really cold until we asked them to turn up the heating, and most people were sitting in the bar with their coats on, which was totally unacceptable. The food was lovely and the restaurant staff were very nice. Our room was okay, though it definitely needs updating. There was a bath, but it was so high that getting in and out was difficult.

The small apartment had a lovely terrace and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and in a perfect location. I love this place and will come back.

Our two little ones had a brilliant time playing with the two entertainers and the other kids. Finding somewhere the whole family can enjoy matters to us, and they really made the stay special. The buffet food was delicious, the surroundings were beautiful and the people were genuinely friendly. We’ve visited the area before, but this was our first stay at this hotel. We’d be very happy to return next summer xx
