This is a pleasant, basic apartment that works well for a family or group. It’s very close to the beach, bars and cafes, and there’s an English-speaking concierge during the day who can arrange a cab. The main bedrooms face the street, though, and it can get noisy at night, mostly from joy-riders. The pool is clean and has free loungers, and the poolside toilets and shower were very clean too. There’s basic tableware and cookware, but you’ll need to buy the essentials if you plan to cook. Bring your own shampoo and body wash as well. We noticed a slight drain smell in the bathroom. There’s an elevator, which is handy for heavy bags on the higher floors, but it’s tiny: two people max, or one wheelchair user. I’d book again.

The staff made us feel welcome and were extremely helpful, and Albir itself is idyllic. I’d recommend the self-catering apartments. The bedrooms are a bit cozy, but the rest of the apartment is quite spacious. Plenty of sports teams stay at this hotel, including cyclists and footballers, but they didn’t seem to have a negative impact on my stay.

Everything you need in an apartment, and a great location. It was clean and well equipped, with friendly staff. I’ll be back soon for a third stay.

The apartment was lovely, with nice spacious rooms, and it’s only 50 m from the beach. Victor on reception was very good and friendly. My only issue was the sunbeds. They’re really uncomfortable and should be replaced at some point.
