We had a good three-night city trip, though there's room for improvement. The neighborhood is mostly Latino and outside the city center, with small shops, cafés, two metro stops and several bus stops nearby. The center is less than 30 minutes away. Our room was large, clean, and beautiful, with a very big, comfortable bed. The windows were badly insulated, so outside sounds came through clearly, from traffic and dogs to people talking. Earplugs fixed it for us the second night, but it's something to know in advance. We mentioned it to staff, who didn't seem to care much, or perhaps they knew the hotel owner wouldn't fix it. Some of the staff were lovely and kind, including the guy who brought us delicious pancakes with Nutella through room service. Others were distant and unhelpful, as other reviews have mentioned. One person at the front desk seemed genuinely offended when I interrupted his phone time to ask a question. A shame.

We were visiting our son, and his dorm was just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The neighborhood felt safe and family friendly. Inside, the hotel was quiet, stylish, and decorated with a calming, zen feel. I liked the simple room design and how it made the place feel both calming and luxurious. The people working there were so nice, sincere, friendly, and helpful. What a great find!

It's a lovely little gem that's affordable and very well cared for. The hotel is pretty and nicely styled, and the staff are so kind and accommodating. Rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels too. It's not in the city center, but the subway makes it easy to get into town. The bathroom sink looks very modern and pretty but isn't very comfortable to wash at, so it's better to use the beautiful walk-in shower. I really recommend it.

The room was nice and clean, and I had a good stay overall. The rooftop bar closed very early, and the 24/7 service that was meant to offer drinks wasn't available. The drinks were a bit pricey, but very good, and the barista, lio, was a really cool guy. We got free snacks whenever we ordered a drink. Getting to Barcelona's main commercial area takes quite a while. 👍👍

For a two-night layover in Barcelona, this worked out really well. The place was very clean, and I loved relaxing in the rooftop pool, even though the water was cold. The location was fine too. I liked being away from the busiest tourist areas, and it cost less.
