Olala Vibe Apartments

My confirmed booking was cancelled after Olala Homes’ revenue department apparently left the mandatory cleaning fee out of the advertised price. The property said it had sent me a warning 24 hours beforehand, but I never received it. The cancellation came from the revenue department, and the system then cancelled the reservation automatically without my knowledge or consent. Instead of honoring the booking at the accepted price or taking responsibility, the property blamed Booking.com. In my view, cancelling over a compulsory fee that wasn't disclosed upfront amounts to an unlawful attempt to reprice the agreement after it was made. Booking.com requires mandatory charges to be disclosed and confirmed reservations to be honored at the accepted price. This was misleading, disruptive, and avoidable. Customers are entitled to transparent prices and good-faith fulfillment of bookings, not hidden charges, later price changes, or blame-shifting. Based on what happened to me, I'd strongly caution others against this provider and urge Booking.com to review and delist partners that act this way.
