Hola Hostel

The hostel was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were pleasant. Eamon was especially helpful, professional, and a joy to talk to. In Barcelona, it's hard to beat this location for the price.

The best parts of my one-night stay were the 24-hour service, the location near a station with a direct route to the airport, and the lockers with magnetic keys. The room and locker both smelled bad, though, and the place seemed poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. The toilets and showers were dirty too. The shower had a timer valve you had to keep pressing, and the water was like a 6am cold bath.

The place was affordable, with great, friendly staff and a good location. My main issue was the smell in the rooms, which could use more frequent cleaning. The women's bathroom was very clean, though, and had plenty of shampoo, pads, hairspray, and a hairdryer. I stayed here in Barcelona a week ago, was satisfied, and would recommend it to everyone.

A lovely, simple place in Barcelona, with comfort and empathy. I stayed two nights on my own, and the Irish man at the entrance was so kind. He suggested a quiet room without a group of mates. The beds were comfortable, with a thick green curtain on each one and a magnetic cabinet for locking up your things. The kitchen and ladies' bathroom were cleaner than I expected. Some cabinets had an unpleasant smell, but that seems like an easy thing to fix. I'd definitely recommend it.
