The only good part was breakfast. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It feels really old fashioned and needs a full renovation. The room had old furniture, a loose hanging lamp, and a power outlet halfway out of the wall. The bedding was disgusting, and the walls were so thin that we could hear the neighbors' alarm and shower in the morning. After 10 pm on our first night, there was no warm water.

The breakfast buffet was a daily highlight, with a big, varied selection that was constantly topped up and kept looking tidy. We also enjoyed eating in the garden. The town felt wonderfully authentic and not touristy, and there are good hiking options nearby if you want to explore on foot. We stayed at Hotel La Aldea Suites during our holiday on Gran Canaria. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful mountain view. The shared spaces were just as clean and well cared for, making the hotel a great base for the trip. After arriving tired from traveling, we were greeted warmly by the staff with friendly smiles and a cold drink, and could order food straight away. That helpful, sincere hospitality continued throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time, and the whole staff deserves a heartfelt thank-you for making our holiday so special. We also want to mention Pasta y Gofio in town, where we had the best meal of our trip. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

The views were spectacular, and the front desk made us feel extremely welcome. The staff were attentive at breakfast and made sure we had what we wanted; the food was delicious. It’s great value for the price, and a great choice if you’re on this side of the island.
