The apartment itself is lovely, clean, and well maintained, right in the historic center. It’s on the first floor above bars that are always packed, with people crowding the street and making a lot of noise. The insulation is very good, but we could still hear a lot, and opening the curtains wasn’t really possible because people could see straight in. We barely slept. We told the owner on our last day, but she didn’t even reply. It’s a shame, and I understand she may not warn people because they might not book, but she should at least have responded. We won’t be back.

I told them five days ahead that I couldn’t come because of medical leave and personal reasons. They wouldn’t cancel the booking, which I can understand, but they also wouldn’t let me move the dates. There was no flexibility at all, and they showed very little empathy. Anyone thinking of booking should know that if medical issues or something unexpected comes up, they could lose both the trip and their money.

We had a fright at night because of the bar directly below, but the windows and doors were excellent, a 15 out of 10, and we couldn’t hear a thing. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend it in the center of Tudela.

The apartment is very nice, and we were comfortable despite a few issues. We waited quite a while for a reply on arrival, and one bedroom was locked, but they sorted that out when we mentioned it. On Saturday night the heating switched off and stayed off until Sunday morning. The temperature had dropped a lot, so I contacted the owner, who managed to turn it back on. Those things can happen, and they dealt with them. The parking ticket was different. I was unexpectedly fined for driving right up to the apartment door, which the owner had told us we could do. When I called the Tudela town hall, they said they had no record of my stay and the owners hadn’t given them my license plate to authorize access. Owners should tell guests about this. I’ve stayed in other cities with access restrictions and never had this happen, either because I was warned or allowed through. The owners had also offered me a parking space for €20, but I declined because I found a spot nearby. There’s nothing I can do now, but I want others who go there to know.
