Fantastic, had a great time.

We fell for every corner of this place. The house is WONDERFUL, so beautifully decorated, and every little detail feels thought through. It was cozy and felt like being in Snow White's forest hahaha. Congratulations on the work you've done to make this space feel like a dream 🥰

It's a former mill turned rural guesthouse, tucked away in nature, with two really friendly hosts. I stayed in a comfortable, fairly basic room called “superior.” There's a pool with loungers, plus a living room, dining room and lawn chairs to relax in. Just watch where you step on the grass, since dogs are allowed and it can be a minefield. Breakfast is generous, but lunch and dinner felt basic for the prices. I also would have liked more tips on hikes and walks nearby. They do have contacts for outdoor activity companies, and another guest told me about some lovely pools close by. There's no mobile service, and the Wi-Fi only works in some areas. That can be a nice chance to unplug, but worth knowing if you need to plan around it ;)

A very distinctive place, deep in the forest. I'd suggest arriving in daylight, since finding the way at night can be tricky if you don't know the road. It's quiet and good for unwinding, with Wi-Fi but no mobile coverage. The decor is rustic with some new-age touches, all done tastefully. We stayed in the suite: the bed was spacious, and there was a towel, bathrobe and small wall-mounted fridge, though the pillow was too soft for us. The fish farm next to the house is full of river trout. We had a great time and met two other couples, but there was also room to keep to ourselves or mingle. There's a spot to play music while having tea. Breakfast was complete, while dinner was a little light. Going out for dinner isn't convenient, as the nearest town is 40 minutes away. A good stay overall.
