We found free street parking about 200 metres away after roughly ten minutes, so the lack of included parking wasn't a problem for us. The basic room was still spacious, modern, and well equipped, with a comfy bed and TV. Check-in was easy and the staff treated us really well. My wife and I keep choosing this Eurostars brand because the quality for the price is hard to beat. I'd stay here again if we came back to the city.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the town centre is about a 20-minute walk.

The staff made the biggest impression on me, they were lovely. Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh fruit and juice. I had worried the wooden floors and location might make it noisy, but I slept really well. It's a charming hotel.

8/10
I liked the large room and comfortable bed, and the price was good for the dates I stayed compared with other hotels. Breakfast is available at a reasonable standard if you want it, though breakfast tends to be expensive everywhere. The location worked for me personally, but it isn't central at all, and public transport isn't available all the time, which can be inconvenient.

The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the service was good. The problem is arriving with luggage: there's nowhere to pull in and unload or load. My niece drove me, and we had to circle around looking for a parking spot, then wheel my bags over to the hotel. That's totally unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
