Hotel Brisa

The staff were very nice and helpful, and if you're lucky you might get a room with an ocean view through the window. The hotel has what you need for a short stay and sits near the main beach, making it easy to get to either side of the city.

I can't speak for everyone, but I was welcomed with one of those smiles that makes you forget your place in the universe. Suddenly, everything else mattered a little less. Happy Poe that he never came here, or he'd have to say: “-- And my soul from of that smile, That lies gracefully near the door, Shall be lifted --never more!”

The rooms are all on the first floor, running along one very long corridor, and there's little between them, so it depends who your neighbours are. My room was rather dingy, though honestly it was reasonably quiet by Spanish standards. It's near the beach, but the train station is a long walk away. A taxi costs about 6 Euros. The reception photo gives a misleading impression, since that's the only modernized part of the hotel. The hotel next door looks like a better option.

A fantastic location, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful, with personal attention, and they treated us to a big breakfast to get the day started. A lovely stay!
