The breakfast buffet was a treat, especially making my own Catalan pan com tomate. There are good restaurants, supermarkets, and a shopping centre nearby, too. The room was roomy, very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It’s a handy last stop before the French border. Highly recommend it.

Our car developed a problem while we were driving from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to Atzeneta del Maestrat, Castellon. A local garage pointed us to Font del Pla. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was clean and simple. The restaurant wasn’t operating.

We’ve stayed here before, and this time one phone call was all it took to reserve a room. They were very polite and made it easy. I’ve saved their number in my contacts now.

A clean, pleasant-smelling room made this a good place to spend the night while travelling to or from Spain.

The people were the best, and the food too. My family has never had better service.
