Apartment With 3 Bedrooms in El Cotillo, With Wonderful Mountain View, Furnished Terrace and Wifi - 500 m From the Beach

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the main restaurant and shopping strip, and there’s a supermarket at the end of the street. The rooms were reasonably priced, the staff were helpful, and the pool area was great. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was great to have towels and bedding changed every three days. There were a few niggles: no toilet brush or wine glasses, and no broom until we asked for one. The hot water pressure was almost nonexistent, and washing up was tricky because there was no way to plug the kitchen sink. A washing-up bowl might help. The washing machine and airer were a bonus, as were the full-size fridge with small freezer, hairdryer, oven, hob, microwave and grill, toaster, and kettle. The knives were sharp and the kitchen well equipped. I’d definitely return and recommend the apartments.

The rooftop terrace was where we got the sun all day, since our balcony faced the pool but stayed mostly shaded. The apartment itself was great, with all the kitchen gear we needed, plus a washer and hairdryer. SuperDino next door and the Dragon China 2012 shop across the road were handy for anything we’d forgotten. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in took a phone call to get the entrance and key codes, though. It’d be easier if they sent those by text or email on arrival day. We’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

The views from my balcony were so lovely that I spent most days sunbathing there, and the bedroom window was a nice spot for sunrise too. I was on my own for a relaxing break, and the quiet setting suited me perfectly. The pool was peaceful as well, so finding a sunbed was easy. It’s about 35 minutes from the airport. My apartment, B12, was clean and had what I needed. The shop right next door had reasonable prices. They included bin bags, toilet roll, washing-up liquid and a sponge. Towels were changed every three days and bedding every five, which was great for a self-catering place. WiFi worked in the living room and by the pool, but not in the bedroom. For check-in, you call the number on the door to get the key safe code. I’d happily recommend the place and come back.

I’ve stayed here twice, and it’s good value for a relaxing self-catering break. It isn’t luxury, but the apartments are lovely and quiet, with a supermarket right next door. The bus station is under a 10-minute walk away, and the fantastic beach in El Cotillo is nearby. The staff are really helpful. If you arrive after reception closes, though, you do need to phone to get in.
