Arena Suite Hotel - Adults Only

We’d go back, even though the entertainment guy really drove us mad. The acts brought in were excellent, and I’d have paid to see them. We stayed half board, and breakfast had the usual options for everyone. The evening meals changed theme each night, but only four of the seven were very good for us; the other three were average at best. Staff were all very nice and helpful. We booked the day before flying out. The room was very good and spotless, and seemed to have been refurbished recently. It’s a five-minute walk to the rocky shore and about fifteen minutes to the far end of the main shopping and bars area. We don’t mind walking after dinner, so the stroll into town worked well for us.

I like this hotel, and the staff are great, so it was a shame to see it so quiet on our recent visit at the end of November. There was no all-inclusive option anymore, just half board. The food and cleanliness were as good as before, but the bar was dead. Entertainment was scheduled, yet most nights only about ten people watched, sometimes even fewer. With so few guests, paying the barman, entertainment staff, and an act must be running at a loss. I think dropping all-inclusive was a mistake, and hope they reconsider and bring it back. I’d been here in January 25, when it was busy, the bar was well used, and the entertainment was fairly good. Peter Brown

I was happy to be a guest here. The hotel has large, comfortable, very clean rooms, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They met all my requirements.

The Animation team made our holiday, especially Rebecca (Bekz). She had loads of enthusiasm and energy, encouraged people to join the daytime activities, and led the evening entertainment. She was also friendly and helpful. My husband and I had a fantastic stay with our friends. The room was really nice and clean, the food was good, and the pool area was well kept and clean. We’d recommend checking this place out.
