The restaurant is an inviting place to dine and one of the more elegant spots on the island. Most of the dishes I tried were good, though not especially memorable. The lamb, however, was the single worst dish I had on the island. Avoid it.

We loved our stay in a very spacious villa with its own swimming pool, and the staff were really friendly. The restaurant was closed, which was a pity, but there are two good ones nearby. Try The Villa, it’s superb. The Wi-Fi was not good at all.

These villas are a lovely, beautiful part of the hotel and restaurant Casa Vieja. They’re large, nice, and clean, and each has its own parking space. La Oliva is in the center of the island, about a 30-minute drive from corralejo or puerta del rosita. We’d recommend renting a car so you can drive around the island. We had a perfect holiday here.

We came across this lovely little oasis near La Oliva entirely by luck, and what a find. The staff were absolutely lovely and took wonderful care of us. We had grilled veg, canarian lamb chops, and tortellini, all cooked to perfection. Don’t miss it if you’re in Fuerteventura!
