I found this a great fit for a solo stay. The rooms are airy and clean, and mine had its own bathroom, so I didn't need the shared facilities. The communal kitchen is well equipped, and I used the washing machine; there was space behind my room for my airer. It's peaceful and away from the bustle, though the rural, communal setting means kids, donkeys, and roosters can be noisy early in the morning, so bring earplugs. The people seemed lovely, and I still think it's worth staying here. It was good for the soul. Getting around was easy: the bus stop is 50m away and the supermarket is 100m away. I hired a car and thought the location was excellent for exploring the island, with markets in La Oliva and Lajares and other places of interest nearby. The sauna is switched on once a week. The hot tub looked empty and didn't seem to be working.

I loved how many quiet corners there were around this little compound, from the courtyard seating to the small library where you can borrow books. The communal kitchen is spacious, tidy, and has the cookware for a meal as well as coffee pots for a simple morning brew. The place is tucked at the top of a pleasant residential street, so it feels private, and there's a bus stop nearby and a grocery store a short walk away. The roof terraces look straight out at the windmills and mountains. The pool and spa area looked like a lovely retreat among cacti, succulents, and local plants, though I didn't use them because of the weather. I did pick fresh mint and rosemary from the garden for tea, and the loquats were edible too. If you love nature and want somewhere simple and communal but still private, this is a lovely, unpretentious place.

I loved it here. The atmosphere was amazing, and everyone was friendly, even the people staying in. I was in the yurt, which was pretty and surprisingly spacious, and it stayed warm in December. If you're in the yurt or a camper, you do have to use the shared bathroom and shower, but that wasn't a big deal. There’s a small pool, sauna, and hot tub too.

A sweet little oasis in the middle of Fuerteventura, and a handy base for exploring the island. The room has a cool 60s-70s look, put together with real style. Internet was very good, and there were plenty of comfy chairs and tables around the property. Lots of remote workers here. 100%!

The sound carries a lot here, so this may not suit anyone who struggles with noise. On Saturday night I could clearly hear children shouting and adults talking and laughing in the room below, and it felt as if they were right in my room. Even ordinary conversation, kitchen use, or someone getting up early comes through. I understand people were enjoying their weekend, but the insulation is poor. Still, I enjoyed my week at casa Cocolores. It's a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, a great location, and an amazing view. My room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and the shared areas were consistently clean. The owner was very kind too. Thanks for the stay 😊
