We stayed for a week in this beautifully spacious apartment, which was fully equipped. The private rooftop balcony was massive, with plenty of sun loungers and a lovely shaded spot with comfy sofas.

In El Cotillo, in the north of the island, we found a very comfortable apartment in the Marfolin Playa complex. It had a large terrace, swimming pools, and views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean. There were plenty of shops, and several restaurants were open. The weather was pleasant, mostly around 20°C, especially in sheltered spots. With so few tourists, exploring the island by car was refreshing. We stayed until April, after receiving the necessary vaccine, then returned just in time for the third lockdown. This was all in January 2021, when we were looking for somewhere that was still permitted to visit. Lanzarote, our first choice, was already closed, so we went to Fuerteventura via Munich after completing all the necessary tests.

We were seven friends, and this apartment suited us perfectly. Katia was kind and trusting, and we had a lovely stay. The place itself was fantastic, especially the spot right across from the ocean.

The apartment is really well cared for, and there’s a great pool. You’re right by the beach in the best part of El Cotillo, with several restaurants close by. The town center is about a 10-minute walk.
