The beach is beautiful, but someone broke into our locked car and stole our money and backpacks, throwing our things across the road. Collecting everything one by one was exhausting, and the theft ruined our visit. Anyone going there should be very careful and take all valuables and sentimental things with them.

A beautiful beach, and a fun place for adults and children to walk over the black rocks looking for crabs. We expected more popcorn formations, but they only appear in patches. The road is quite rocky, about a five-minute walk from the main road. Worth a visit.

The little “rocks” look like popcorn 😅 They’re small fossils of white algae. From Corralejo, it takes about half an hour by bike, an hour on foot or ten minutes by car. Worth seeing.

The beach is beautiful, but don’t leave anything in your car. Someone broke into ours in the beach car park today and took all the cash from our wallets.

Swimming isn’t really possible here, though it might suit surfers. Part of the beach is covered in popcorn-like sand, and getting there means a careful drive over a rough off-road route.
