The terrace had just a 10-watt light for the outdoor area; the other light was broken and never got fixed. There were cobwebs everywhere, torn mattress covers, and ripped covers on the hammock and terrace. We arrived to find no water or paper towels, and the hand soap, shampoo, and toilet paper had already been used. The mattresses they describe as high quality weren't at all. The metal roof was damp and moldy, and the pool couldn't be used because its water was green and very dirty. I also had to clean dust on the first day and clean the washing machine before using it, since its inner seal was covered in mold. Lizard droppings on the walls are normal, but a little cleaning could have removed them. When we took sofa cushions to try to make a crib mattress, we found a dirty piece of paper, covered in who knows what. My 15-month-old son went two days without a mattress for his crib. I contacted the woman looking after the house, who wasn't the owner, and they tried to improvise one using cushions from other armchairs. It was shameful. I had to contact Booking.com, and my son finally got to sleep in his crib on the third day. Children clearly aren't welcome here. It could be charming, but it isn't. It felt like they cared only about money and not their guests' well-being. I was very disappointed, don't recommend it, and would never return.

My family had a reservation, but they cancelled it on the very day we were due to arrive and put the price up by €1000. Absolutely disgraceful. These people have no shame.

We spent a few days there in May as a group of 10. It's comfortable, though not luxurious, and the small pool is nice. You'll need to be okay sharing the place with mice and little lizards. The location works really well for exploring the island by car.
