The rooftop terrace has stunning views, and this turned out to be such a pleasure to stay in. The owner was lovely and came out twice, first to help with the heater (we'd caused it to stop working), then to bring a new clothes hanger. Inside, the apartment is beautiful, cosy, and exceptionally comfortable, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and showers, a fireplace, electric heating, and air conditioning. The kitchen has everything you could need, all good quality, and there are thoughtful extras like a Wii, board games, cooking supplies, detergents, and a Nescafe machine with capsules. Everything looked and smelled lovely, and the beds were so comfortable. It's right in the centre of a charming little village, with a cafe/restaurant open all day and evening just across the way. Parking is an easy one-minute walk, so there's no need to drive into the narrow village streets. It's a handy base for this lovely part of Spain, with gorgeous villages nearby and the sea and Girona about 20 minutes away. It really felt better than five-star quality, and I'd highly recommend it. Just keep in mind there are quite a few steps, if that's an issue for you.

Josep is a friendly, attentive host who’s always available. The house feels welcoming and spacious, with every detail taken care of. It’s in a lovely, quiet village, and there’s parking close by.

The setting is beautiful, and the house is very well equipped, with lovely towns worth visiting nearby. Service was excellent, and the staff were very courteous. Two small things to bear in mind: the stairs between floors have high steps and no handrail on one side, which may be hard for older people, and guests have to clean and refill the main pellet stove themselves. Traditional heating would be much more convenient. With those points in mind, I’d still highly recommend it.

The square right in front of the house is a lovely spot for tapas, and the house itself had everything we needed. Josep was always helpful whenever we had a question, and the owner gave us a very warm welcome. We spent three wonderful weeks here. It’s a fantastic, perfectly equipped house, and we’ll be back!

The stone walls and wooden beams are beautiful, and the owners have furnished and decorated the apartment with great taste. Our group of friends from Terres de l'Ebre stayed over the long weekend from November 8 to 11, and we loved the place as soon as we arrived. It was very well equipped, the beds were really comfortable, and we didn’t lack anything. I’d even say it’s the best apartment we’ve stayed in. The owner was also so friendly and welcoming, a 10 for that. If we’re back in Girona, we’ll definitely stay again.
