The garden is beautiful, the beds are comfy, and the place is super clean. The owner was nice too. We hadn’t booked because we’d come from the primitivo, where booking isn’t necessary, and were having trouble finding a bed. Someone recommended this albergue, and now I understand why. It’s a pretty short walk from Arzua, I’d bring groceries, cook here, and enjoy the food in the garden. Definitely my favourite albergue on the Camino so far, and it deserves a solid 5 stars.

This was the best Albergue on the Camino for me, and well worth the extra steps off the trail. The fitted linen sheets, big bathrooms and spacious showers were great, as were the long comfortable mattresses and windows that kept the temperature reasonable. There’s a full kitchen if you bring groceries. I felt better here than I have since being home. Highly recommended.

Quiet and just right for anyone who doesn’t want to stay in a bigger town. The room was cozy and spacious, with a shower, and they provide all toiletries. You do have to take a detour from the Camino, but it’s perfect.

Manuel and his family have made a comfortable, beautiful home among a garden and forest grove. I had a quiet night in the dorm, and there are also rooms, a balcony, seating areas, and a kitchen. They offer a small menu, and Heidi’s, a bar/tavern, is nearby. Manuel is a wonderful host, and I enjoyed our conversations.
