There was loads of space, and the house was really comfortable. We had fun staying there. The heating upstairs did get a little too warm, though.

We found this roomy country house for a weekend away with friends, and I’d happily come back. The village is quiet and feels safe, and the owners were always on hand when we needed anything. It’s less than 30 minutes from La Alberca (Salamanca) and Peña de Francia (Salamanca), with hiking and nearby farms where you can see Iberian pigs in person. There’s plenty to do in the garden, including a pool and mini-golf. The Wi-Fi was excellent, even for the couple of people in our group who needed to work remotely for a few hours. Inside, there are 9 bedrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 4 bathrooms, and several living and dining rooms with lots of seating. Parking fits 3 vehicles about the size of a Peugeot 5008 or Renault Grand Scenic, and there are many more spaces along the same street. A highly recommended place.

The kids had a great time with the pool, mini-golf, and swings, and there’s also a picnic spot outside with two tables. Sergio took us to see the farm, and Nico and Saúl deserve a shout-out. Our group of 15 stayed last weekend, and everything was fantastic. La Rinconada is a small, peaceful village that’s just right for a few days of relaxing.

The patio kept the kids happy, especially the mini-golf, and the mountains are easy to reach for a hike. We spent a wonderful weekend at Casa Salva, getting the family together for an 80th birthday. The house was spotless, welcoming, and roomy, with plenty of fully equipped bathrooms. The owners were so hospitable and attentive, which made everything easy. We’ll be back.
