Hostal El Polígono

The staff were very kind, and the area was peaceful, but I wouldn't come back or recommend it after that night. In room 5, one mattress sank badly in the middle, so sleeping was awful. The air conditioning was set to heat with no remote to change the temperature or switch it off, and I had to get up in the middle of the night to unplug the key card from the outlet 😣😣. The TV remote was nearly out of battery, so we couldn't change channels. Breakfast was very basic too. It was a pretty bad experience.

José really makes you feel at home, and the rest of the staff are just as friendly. Our room was bright, quiet, spacious, very clean, and had a small fridge. Breakfast was very good, while dinner was excellent value. A good place to stay.

For an overnight stop, it worked well for me. I was driving from north to south and wanted to break up the long trip. The hotel sits in an industrial park outside town, but it's a quick drive in. It stays quiet until 7:00 AM, when the industrial park gets busy. The room was fine, with air conditioning, a TV, and a mini-fridge. From the window you look out over a courtyard and warehouses. The bathroom could use a towel rack by the shower and somewhere to hang the toilet paper roll, though there were shelves under the sink. There was nowhere in the shower to set shower gel or a sponge, and no hairdryer. Still, it was more than adequate for one night.

The room was large and very clean, and there was a restaurant where you could get dinner or breakfast at a good price. It's just 2 minutes from the highway, with free parking at the hotel.
