Getting up to this place means climbing to the fifth floor, with no elevator. That’s fine for people used to mountain climbing, but worth considering if you have very large suitcases or don’t like stairs. We were the only guests and felt comfortable, though with the other two rooms occupied the shared areas would feel quite limited. Our attic room was large and clean, but might get hot in summer, and the low doorway means you need to watch your head. The accommodation was very clean and practical, with a fully equipped kitchen that even had drinks service. There was also a spacious dining room for four with TV, radio, and Wi-Fi, plus a large, very clean bathroom.

Mochileros del Mundo is a converted duplex with separate bedrooms and shared spaces. The bathroom, kitchen, and dining room are communal, so it suits people comfortable sharing those areas. The “cinquè” name also means five flights up with no elevator, so you’ll need to be up for the stairs. The location isn’t ideal, though free parking is possible if you’re patient. It’s good value, but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone looking for comfort or easily distracted.

Being on the fifth floor with no elevator was the worst part. And since it’s a shared apartment, your stay depends on who else is there. We got tenants who came in at three in the morning, making a racket like bulls in a china shop.
