A strong chemical smell hit me as soon as I entered the room, like it had recently been disinfected. It was so intense that I couldn't sleep or feel comfortable staying there. When I raised it with reception, they denied that any treatment had happened, despite the obvious signs. That felt dishonest and frustratingly unprofessional. I suspect the room may have been treated for bedbugs or another serious hygiene problem, though I can't know for sure. Guests should at least be told beforehand instead of being misled and left to put up with fumes that felt toxic. I had a deeply unpleasant stay and wouldn't recommend the hotel. Basic honesty, health, and comfort all matter, and this place failed on each.

We found the old town location really good, and there was safe, secure parking for our motorbikes. The place was very comfortable, with good service and an excellent breakfast.

We also had a meal at the restaurant, and the younger waitress was especially kind and helpful. The service, lovely ambience, and amazing position all made for an amazing experience at this beautiful hotel. I can't say enough good things about this Parador.

The Paradores we visited on our 7500km European road trip felt like anchor points among all the hotels we stayed in. We found some great places, but these slightly less exciting, solid hotels were obvious choices in the right locations, often off the beaten path. This time we stayed in La Seu. Paradores offer the highest value and are hard to beat, with historic or cultural significance, excellent facilities, and reliably good food and service. It seems mind-boggling that more younger and overseas visitors don't come. There should be international interest in planning a Europe trip around a selection of Parador hotels. The staff were great, especially in the bar and dining area.

We wished we could have stayed longer at this lovely hotel, and we'll definitely return. Its location is great, and the rooms were immaculate. There's secure motorcycle parking opposite the hotel. We had great rooms with a terrace, thanks to the gentleman who checked us in on 10/07/24. I can't recall his name, but he was welcoming and helpful. The restaurant food was first-rate, and staff there and in the bar gave excellent service. The restaurant team were very helpful and had a great sense of humour. There are good breakfast options too.
