The kids were especially pleased with the runny chocolate sauce at breakfast, and after eating they loved collecting eggs from the chicken coup. We all enjoyed the countryside setting. It's a charming guest house in a lovely old building with thick walls, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We'd happily come back. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Mas Rubio a few weeks ago, staying with two other families and five kids altogether. The children played in the garden and playroom, then went to see the chickens each morning. The owners were welcoming, and both breakfast and dinner were wonderful. A great experience, highly recommend!

Gemma is such a friendly host, and it's easy to feel relaxed and at home with her. The house is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the food is great. She's a passionate cook, and I loved how many vegetables she put in the meals 😋. For a special hike, Rupit is a must visit!

Our room and bathroom were spotless, and the mattress was comfortable. We also had a superb dinner and an amazing breakfast, made with local ingredients and, when possible, produce from their veggie garden. The host gave us a very warm welcome. They're working on a swimming pond, so I hope to come back next year and enjoy it!

We should have booked a longer stay. This XVII century masía is a memorable experience, and dinner with the hosts is well worth staying for. The setting, the hosts, the cleanliness, and the value were all amazing. Heaven in Garrotxa, truly highly recommended!
