The traditional decor and roomy bedrooms made the villa feel lovely, and the private pool was a real plus. It sits high in the Andalucian countryside, though getting there could be tricky if you’re not used to roads in this part of the world. I’d definitely come back.

The owner was friendly and gave us space, and the house was very clean, with an authentic interior, lovely terrace, pool, and fantastic views. Heavy rain had damaged the access road, so reaching the house was a bit difficult in a small car. A bigger car is a good idea for staying in the area. There’s a small shop nearby, while a proper supermarket is a 15 to 20 minute drive away. If you want to get away from city life, this house is well worth considering.

The local village is splendid, and its festival was awesome. We had an amazing week, with a villa that was very clean and well appointed, close to everything yet away from it all. The kids and grandparents loved the views, the pool, and the villa. We’ll definitely come back.
