The staff were always around when we needed them and shared useful tips and recommendations. Breakfast was served so nicely, another lovely part of the stay. It’s a cosy, peaceful spot for enjoying Covadonga and the beauty of Picos de Europa. Thanks for being so hospitable!

Paula and Quique really made the stay. They were friendly, kind, and always helpful, with loads of knowledge about the area. We left the trip in their hands, and it worked out exceptionally well. The hotel’s in a small village with plenty to see nearby, including a Palace, a beautiful church, and a local cheese factory worth visiting. It also made a great base for Cabrales, Covadonga, ruta del Cares, and the Asturian shore, with a restful place to come back to after a day out. We stayed for a week at the start of July, on our first trip after the Covid situation. The hygiene and safety measures were thorough: rooms were attended to daily, ozone treatment was used, and hydroalcohol bottles were available at the entrance and on every floor. I was a little unsure about buffet breakfast, but they handled it really well. We booked a breakfast time on the terrace, which has magnificent mountain views, then sat down and were served a basket of choices. There were different options each day. If you wanted more distance, you could choose a time and have the basket brought to your room instead. The place was clean, the rooms had enough space, and some had terrific mountain views, quite a sight if you’re used to living among buildings. The beds were comfy and sparkling clean, and the wifi was good too.

The service was excellent, and breakfast was both generous and delicious. A perfect place to rest before getting back on the road. Highly recommended!
