José Antonio looked after us so well, with the kind of care that's hard to come by in rural stays. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed, even armchairs and reading lights. Rain kept us indoors quite a bit, but it was a very comfortable place to spend the time. Its location also works perfectly for exploring Las Hurdes and the La Alberca area. Thanks so much, José Antonio!

Jose Antonio clearly cares about making guests feel welcome, and his local knowledge means he can offer useful advice for whatever you need. The apartments are clean, warmly decorated, and well equipped, in a location that's hard to beat. We had a great stay and will definitely come back! 👌🏼

José Antonio was incredibly helpful and made sure we had a wonderful stay. Luxury Las Mestas has a rustic feel that already has me looking forward to another visit. The open living and kitchen area is lovely, with a fireplace that makes it especially inviting. In the bedroom there's a 1.50m double bed and two 90cm single beds, plus a dressing room and en-suite bathroom. The appliances and TV are top quality, and it has everything you need for a few days in the beautiful, lesser-known Las Hurdes (Cáceres) and Las Batuecas (Salamanca). Highly recommended!

The village is lovely, surrounded by an incredible natural setting. Our apartment was spotless, warm, and decorated with great taste, so we had a wonderful weekend. We'll be back!

Las Mestas is peaceful and well placed between the area's main sights, making it a great base for Las Hurdes and Sierra de Francia. My partner and I came away from the weekend completely happy, and I plan to return. The apartment felt practically brand new and had what we needed to be comfortable, whether for a short stay or a longer holiday. José Antonio was kind and helpful throughout, and I want to thank him again for all his help. Until next time.
