El Mirador de Lanchares

A pretty painful world, really. You can forget everything here.

The house was fine for our stay, though the kitchen was too small for a large group and couldn’t accommodate everyone in the house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate. The views and surrounding area were beautiful.

There was no Wi-Fi signal inside the house, only if you went outside. The hallway was dark too, and a motion-sensor light by the room entrances would help, since you had to unload what you were carrying just to reach the switch and see properly. There was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, and a small closet would be useful because we couldn’t unpack our suitcases. The drawers didn’t really help. The cleanliness was terrible, with dirt in every corner of the room and kitchen. We had to clean the room ourselves, and attached photos. The fridge didn’t work and had a strong smell, probably from damaged coolant. We cleaned it several times but the problem continued, and we had to throw away the food inside. We got by during our stay, but it was unfortunate. The room advertised for three was really for two, with a double bed and a very small sofa bed. There are several things that need fixing.

I can’t recommend it. The showers were in bad shape and the cleaning had been neglected. We were freezing, and even after we told them about the cold, nobody did anything about the heating.
