We loved Lanjarón partly because it didn't feel set up for lots of non-Spanish tourists. We hardly heard English while we were there, which suited us. The property is rural and charming, with clean, organised rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and everything we needed. It isn't the place if you want modern, slick surroundings, but we were happy spending time outdoors in the grounds. The children, and I, loved the pool, and the view from the top of the house was amazing. Lina is kind and friendly, while still giving you room to enjoy your holiday. This is one of our favourite places we've ever stayed. I almost didn't want to leave a good review in case more people found it! We'd love to come back.

Three days went by too quickly, and I'd love to return for longer. There are lots of lovely hikes and plenty to do, and Lina gave us really helpful advice. The house is tucked away in nature, surrounded by fruit and nut trees, with spring water running through it. At night we opened the window and fell asleep to the sound of the water. Lina and Fran were wonderful hosts. It's a magical place, well off the beaten path. Many thanks, Lina!

We spent our time hiking in the mountains, swimming in the freshwater pools, and enjoying the character of this incredible, unusual house. The hosts made us feel very welcome. We'd come back in a heartbeat.
