The large garden was a real plus, especially on windy days, since we could always find a sheltered spot. There’s even a separate Wi-Fi password for the pool area. Our apartment was clean and nice, and having its own access point meant the connection was fine. Raquel and her partner made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the unusual, quirky setting and would recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere away from the crowds. We did pass some maintenance suggestions for our apartment directly to Raquel so she could follow up.

A couple of extinct volcanoes are within walking distance, and I climbed the one on the left. The place is a renovated farmhouse in the Lanzarote countryside, away from the tourist areas, with a nice pool. Raquel looked after us wonderfully. We had a great time and hope to return to la casa caldera soon.

Raquel and Laura were accommodating and flexible, and were happy to suggest places to visit around the island. The garden and pool areas are gorgeous. We loved the rustic country decor, and the house had what we needed for a restful, comfortable stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sofas and beds.

Raquel was so welcoming and had plenty of information to help us make the most of our stay. Everything was taken care of, and we wanted for nothing. The traditional place has a unique character and amazing furnishings, set in a peaceful oasis with a beautiful pool to relax beside. It’s one of the most delightful places I’ve stayed while holidaying on Lanzarote, and I’d definitely return.

There was plenty of space in the house and around it, so even with other guests on the premises it still felt private. Raquel was very sweet and made sure our needs were met. The place was clean and peaceful, with great attention to detail. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of the desert. Simply amazing!
