Boutique Hotel Cordial Plaza Mayor de Santa Ana

The hotel was a great base for exploring the historic area, with several excellent places to eat nearby. Our plaza-facing room had a fabulous view and was mostly quiet, though the two small restaurants next door had some patio noise until 11 pm on Saturday. I'm a light sleeper, but it didn't bother me. We stayed two nights in mid-March 2026, on the second floor. The room and bed were very comfortable, clean, and in perfect working order. The large bathroom had shampoo/body wash and a hair dryer, but no conditioner or face cloths. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There’s a lift as well as stairs, and the front desk lends umbrellas at no cost if needed. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold options. The breakfast room is small, so you need to pick a sitting, but we got our first choice first thing in the morning. The rooftop patio is fabulous, especially if you get there early for a good seat in the shade on a hot day. The staff there were friendly to chat with and gave us excellent local wine recommendations. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to see more than just the beach.

For the price, this was the best hotel we've stayed in for a long time, with excellent value. It's modern, clean, and in a great location, and the staff are super. The only small hassle is that cabs have to drop you a couple hundred feet away, so you'll need to haul your luggage a short distance. Still worth it.

Terraza Belvedere opens from 3pm, and it's a lovely spot to unwind in the sun for a couple of hours. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around 10€.

Parking is a little tricky, which is no surprise in the old town. We were also a bit let down by the rooftop bar: no one greeted us when we arrived, and the service felt off in general. Still, we had a fantastic stay and found the hotel lovely. The rooms went beyond what we expected, with nothing to criticize in my view. Prices are fair, and the staff were kind, especially the young male receptionist, who was exceptionally friendly. The kitchen staff put a lot of care into breakfast. There isn't a huge choice, but there's something for everyone.
