Bull Reina Isabel & Spa Hotel

The seaview room was lovely, and the Front Office arranged our trip to the Maspalomas Dunes with a bus transfer right from the hotel. They were always smiling and helpful whenever we went to the Front Desk. Three days before departure we requested a late check-out because of our late flight. We checked each day for an update, but were told to ask again on departure day. Then we were told it wasn't possible because of availability, and given a courtesy room for just 20 minutes, by appointment, to change. Not ideal. This was our first holiday together as a couple, and we chose the hotel for its convenient location and half-board package. I work as a hotel manager, so I wanted to share honest, constructive feedback to help other guests and the Management. Before arriving, I contacted the Front Office about a small surprise in the room. Lidia & Noemi arranged everything perfectly, which made our arrival feel special. Thank you! A kind man carried our suitcases straight to the room, which surprised me for a 4* hotel. Antonio handled check-in, explained everything, and was kind and professional throughout the stay. The room didn't quite match the description. We had booked a seaview double bed, queen-size, but got a seaview twin with two separate beds. That disappointed us, though we didn't want to put pressure on the team after such a warm welcome. I wanted to mention it. I added more information under the tabs. The room phone wasn't working, and towels were limited to the number of guests with no easy way to ask for extras. These details may sound small, but they affected our comfort. The property is beautiful and very well located, with the potential for a five-star stay. Unfortunately, service had a real impact on our visit. Staff may have been busy turning rooms around quickly, but they felt inflexible and not very accommodating, which made things less enjoyable. With better service and more attention to guest needs, this place could easily merit five stars. I hope to return and find these issues addressed.

The hotel is right on the beach, facing the promenade, and the location is very good. Rooms are modern and clean, and breakfast was amazing. Free parking is available, though a space isn't guaranteed. Another option is a nearby car park, where the hotel will stamp your ticket for a discount. It comes to 14 euros a day. Some rooms include spa access, but treatments like massages cost extra and need to be booked in advance.

The location is exceptionally good, and breakfast is good too. Dinner, in my view, isn't worth the price. The ingredients are good, but the chefs don't seem properly trained: there was no seasoning, and everything was cooked until it was completely overdone. The kitchen dishwasher team also didn't pay much attention to their work.
