Casa Pepita

I liked having a shelf of my own in the fridge and pantry for food and drinks, and the little shared kitchen on the roof was spotless and worked well. I made tea and sandwiches there for lunch several times, then relaxed on the roof terrace. The rooms and facilities are great for the price, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's an easy walk to the beaches on the north side of Las Palmas, about 5-15 minutes depending on which one. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, including Tiki Taco for authentic Mexican tacos. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to the island.

The hosts were lovely, and breakfast in the morning was great. The rooms and bathroom have an original look and were clean, too. For a break, there's an outdoor rooftop terrace, while the central location puts services nearby and the beach just a five-minute walk away. It also worked really well for a business stay. I'll definitely come back!

The rooftop was the best I've come across, a perfect place to unwind in the evening. Breakfasts were good, and the staff were friendly. Everything was clean and quiet, and clearly looked after. Parking was the one real headache. If you've rented a car, expect to pay 16 GBP a day in a paid car park. There's virtually no chance of finding a space on the town streets.

Giuliano and Sylvia were so friendly and welcoming, and the place was very clean and tidy. I'd have liked tea or coffee before 9am and at bedtime. If guests can't use the kitchen, a kettle in the lounge or rooms would be handy.
