Plaza de La Feria Premium Apartments

Road noise is hard to ignore here, with buses constantly going by on the surrounding streets. The square also draws groups of young people quite often, and I found it ugly, dirty, and awkward to use. I don't like this place and wouldn't recommend it.

The gardens are neat and clean.

This little green patch gives some relief from all the smog, and generations of Canarians have grown up playing here. The park feels different throughout the day: older people sit in the sun on the stone benches in the morning, families with kids tend to fill it around teatime, and at night dogs and teenagers skate over the paving stones. I'm glad the benches have been kept in their original state. The park needs better care. Rats climb up and down the palm trees at night, cockroaches spread across the grass, and the lawn fences are damaged, rusty, or broken. The bins are often overflowing by morning. It also needs public toilets that close at night, with an attendant charging €0.50-€1 per person, like in other European cities. A small kiosk with a terrace in one corner could sell basics such as water, newspapers, coffee, and sweets. That would create a couple of jobs and bring more life to the park.
