RK Farallón Canteras

Our stay at RK Falkarón worked really well for a city break. The staff we met were lovely, caring and helpful, and reception was open 24 hours. The main entrance and our room both used digital key cards. There are two lifts serving the seven floors, though I didn't pay attention to whether there was lift access between the entrance and reception. There are steps into the accommodation and more down to the small but adequate gym and spa. We had a spacious top-floor corner flat on one level, with a generous bathroom and shower, a huge double bed, and bright lighting. I prefer one double to two singles, and this was a delight. The room was modern, had plenty of natural light, and came with everything we needed for self-catering, including a combi microwave and lots of power sockets. The partial views looked out toward the sea on one side and the harbour on the other. The European port is a striking sight, and the marina is huge. Some rooms have two levels and some have balconies, so there's a choice of layouts. The location felt ideal. Restaurants and attractions were a short walk away, as were bus stops and the station. You can also get to and from the airport by bus and walk the last bit with your cases. Nearby you'll find laundry services, hair and nail salons, a barber, and plenty of other places. There are marked bus schedules, lots of stops, and taxis around, with things to see both close by and farther out. Having a comfortable room to come back to mattered, and this one ticked all the boxes for us. Thanks to the staff we met during our stay 🙏
