It's just two minutes from the shore, but the place wasn't clean. We found hair on the pillows and asked the manager on WhatsApp to replace them. He didn't respond, so we ended up cleaning the room ourselves.

The room felt dark and depressing, and the floors were dirty. For around 90-100 euros a night, I would look elsewhere. The online pictures don't reflect what you actually get. We were on the first floor, with construction right outside the door and dust covering the floor and furniture. The window faced the street, so keeping the curtains open meant no privacy. They were full blackout curtains, leaving us with either total darkness or no privacy. The room was all white and gray under cold lighting, and a large cupboard had no doors, so it looked unfinished. The newer electronics and kitchen appliances were a plus. The shower had hot water and was good, and the bed was okay. There are no physical keys: you have to download an app to unlock the doors. It was annoying and didn't work properly for us. You need enough phone battery when you go out, or you could get locked out and waste vacation time sorting it out. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and mobile data was only usable if you leaned out of the window.

The apartment has five-star potential, and the chat worked very well. The staff there were polite, and I found my room very clean and smelling good when I arrived. A service employee also came for daily cleaning. I didn't have the problems mentioned by others, though I do have a few suggestions and concerns. This is a self check-in apartment. If you read the FAQ and notify them 24 hours before arrival, they'll email instructions. You need the "justin-mobile" app, which connects to your phone number and opens the door lock over Bluetooth. Keep an eye on your battery. That's half a star off for me, though there's a workaround: ask in the chat beforehand for a backup. A note for guests would help too. I understand that places like this want to modernize and earn extra income, and I don't blame them. As the German saying goes, "It's the tone that makes the music." There was no construction noise or loud music while I was there, but the ground floor was being renovated as of March 2, 2025. There's a camera on the ceiling. From the owner's perspective, with no staff to check people in, I think that's legitimate. It only points at the entrance door, and there are no other cameras in the stairwell. Still, I worry about allergy sufferers breathing in fine dust. I had no problem with it myself. The room had a closet, iron and ironing board, kitchen, fridge, and dishes for two, which suited an apartment for two people. There was also a small work table, TV and couch. In my case, the air-conditioning remote was mounted on the wall, though you can remove it 😄 The Wi-Fi was available, but after the time change, make sure the laptop clock is set correctly or it won't synchronize the connection. The location is really good. The beach is less than two minutes away, with a delightful cafe there too. It's a seven-minute walk to the plasa de espana, where you can get to the shopping area. Lots of reliable buses leave from there and go everywhere. A one-way ticket costs €1.40-€1.60. There are also several supermarkets nearby for water, snacks and other things. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism, and that the place keeps improving. I'd be happy to come back 🙏🏻😄

The smell was awful, and the place looked nothing like the pictures on Booking. The host didn't answer. Worst place, don't book it!
