Apartamento en Las Canteras

The location was so convenient, with the beach just steps away, a supermarket down the street, and the bus terminal about 800 meters away. The apartment is small but has all the equipment you need, including a washing machine. It was clean, bright, and airy. The owner was incredibly kind and brought shampoo and shower gel when we asked. A really positive experience.

The location is excellent, around 200 meters from the beach and Santa Catalina Park. The facilities are new, though the mattress could be a little better. There’s no air conditioning or heating, but we didn’t miss either, perhaps they aren’t needed on the island.

Groceries, restaurants, and an ATM are all nearby, and the location is good, practically right on Las Canteras beach. You can take the elevator from the sixth floor down to the beach. It’s a small, clean, newly renovated apartment with most of what you need, suited to one person or preferably a younger couple. There’s no balcony, and you should expect some noise from neighbors. The host is very nice.

The location was the one good thing about this apartment, and that's why we booked a week there even though it wasn't cheap. When we arrived, both the building and the whole street leading to the entrance were under construction. None of that was mentioned in the booking or shown in the photos. The drilling, grinding, hammering and other construction noise made it impossible to rest. On top of that, a water pump below the bedroom and living room hummed constantly, 24 hours a day, breaking the silence. We never saw the landlord. He sent a very nice acquaintance who had nothing to do with the property, and the landlord only showed up for checkout at the end of the week. I'm attaching photos to back this up, and hope they help someone avoid being ripped off.
