The climb up to this place is seriously steep, and getting into town on foot isn't easy. We managed the hill in our 1983 VW, though it was a bit of a struggle. Once there, it's peaceful, with lovely views, a great pool and sports facilities. The toilets were kept spotless by a really friendly, sweet guy. The bar and restaurant were excellent value, with pintxos available at the bar anytime and wine at about €2 a glass. The barman was always happy to bring extra ice. There's also a small town up the hill if you fancy that. Thanks for having us.

We were on a bike tour and stayed for one night without booking ahead. The staff were lovely, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. We couldn't get coffee before setting off because the restaurant didn't open until 10am. Still, the covered outdoor seating meant we could eat our own food there early in the morning while it rained.

The grounds are really well looked after, and the staff were helpful, especially Elaine, who speaks good English and was lovely. We stayed five days in our motorhome and got around on our e-bikes. It's very hilly, but there's beautiful scenery to enjoy. Since it's early in the season, things were quiet, which suited us perfectly. The bar and restaurant were only open on weekends at the time. We ate there on Saturday, and the food was very good with quick service. Fresh bread is available from reception in the morning.

We had a lot of privacy at the end of September, and some pitches look out over the sea. Dogs are welcome, and you can order a baguette for the following day. It's a very pleasant, well-kept campsite with clean facilities.

We paid €43.50 for two people in a tent for one night, without electricity, which felt far too expensive. Getting to the city or beach is difficult, and there aren't parking spaces in the city, so the campsite's location isn't great. The pool was clean but always crowded. The site and bathrooms were generally very clean, and the bathrooms were good, though they could be quite far from your pitch. The view can be really nice. If you have a particular spot in mind, ask for it while it's still free.
