Mauro Suites

The only minor snag was parking: there's no spot at the property, and the garage about 300 meters away costs a bit more. It didn't bother us much, since the apartment was so comfortable and nice. I stayed three nights and was very satisfied. The room/apartment was spacious, clean and nicely furnished, and the central location put everything within walking distance.

Better than a 3-star hotel or an AB&B. They refreshed the room every day and topped up the coffee and water. You can do your laundry there too.

I noticed how quiet the room was, even with cafés right below on the street. It was modern, clean, secure and easy to access. The location at Mauro Suites in León is excellent, less than a minute's walk from the Cathedral, restaurants and shops. I'd highly recommend it if you're after a safe, comfortable place right in the center.

The place is high quality and would be perfect if the bed were better. The mattress is either damaged or badly designed. It's so soft that both of us sink into a hole in the middle, lengthwise and across the bed. The edges are firm, but the center gives way. We weigh 60 and 80 kg, so our weight isn't the issue.
