La Antilla is a lovely, peaceful town, and I've had this house since I was little. I live here, and it's great to live here! Just remember this is a community of neighbors, not a hotel. If you don't like that, don't come.

I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. The accommodation itself is very nice. We checked in Thursday the 1st and were due to leave Sunday the 4th, but a family member died and we had to go in the early hours of the 2nd. The owner wouldn't refund ANYTHING, saying he couldn't book the place to someone else. I understand that, but it feels INHUMAN and leaves a lot to be desired. This was force majeure, and as you can imagine, Booking.com wouldn't let us cancel and make the accommodation available to others. Very disappointed.

The rooms were like ovens because the air conditioners didn't work. The TV was broken too, and cleaning was only just adequate. The whole experience was awful. One star, since it wouldn't let me give zero.

There isn't much privacy here, since everything in the shared areas is open. A fussy neighbor can make that a real nuisance. The houses are fine for a few days, but the pool is closed in September, and nobody told us, so we couldn't legally use it. On our first day there were no sheets or towels, even though we'd paid for them in advance. Pets are allowed, but you have to clean the house thoroughly before leaving or they deduct it from your deposit. After lots of back and forth, it took a week to get part of the deposit back. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, and I won't be back.
