A really comfortable place, and Dolors and Azahara handled everything very well.

The accessible apartment was clean, tidy, and well suited to guests with disabilities, with a spacious, fully equipped bathroom. We had two people staying there. The problems were in apartment 5, where two families, six people in total, stayed. We had told them there would be eight of us for dinner, but there weren't enough chairs, so we all squeezed into the one apartment. The tablecloth was dirty. We went to make a quick dinner, soup and toast with cold cuts, but the pots and measuring cup were greasy, the plates had food stuck on them, and even a drinking glass was dirty. We ended up washing everything we used. There was no soup ladle, so we had to use a cup. We told Azahara, since we'd paid for a weekend and expected the place to be ready. She apologized and asked us for photos so she could raise the issue with their cleaning service, which apparently isn't doing a good job in this apartment. We cleaned everything to avoid health problems. The mattresses were comfortable and the showers easy to get into. Most of the rooms were fine, except the one where my daughters slept. When my youngest went to switch on the bedside light, she got an electric shock. The wiring was exposed and badly taped. Thankfully she wasn't hurt, but it was frightening. We sent a photo and were still waiting for Azahara to respond. Some light bulbs were burned out, and the dishwasher leaked. There were also too few cooking tools, including no serving ladle, cooking spoon, or frying tongs, and a shortage of pans. It was cold at night, and one of the single beds didn't have a blanket, so I used the sofa blanket for my daughter. The apartment itself is very good, but I was disappointed by the cleaning and the lack of attention to resolving issues. The owners could do more personal checks. Delegating is fine, but they should make sure these details are taken care of.

If you're after peace and quiet, these welcoming apartments in Vilanova de la Sal are a lovely place to spend a few days. They're surrounded by nature, with fresh air and spectacular views of the Montsec mountain range. There's plenty to do nearby, from hiking and climbing to paragliding, mountain biking, and kayaking. A friendly, helpful woman at the apartments can give you the information you need to plan your stay. Highly recommended!

The apartments themselves are nice, new, warm, and have a pleasant barbecue area with lots of room and beautiful views. The kitchen could use more equipment, though. For a stay of several days, they only leave you one garbage bag and one dishwasher tablet. The reception sells some products, but not those. When I called to ask for more, I was told to buy them in Balaguer, a 20-minute drive away. The service was the biggest letdown. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and made a fuss about check-in at 2:00 PM and checkout at 10:00 AM, even though those times don't match the official schedule. It's a shame, because the apartments themselves are fine.
