Even though rain and snow meant we arrived after 10 p.m., the owner was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. Parking near the hotel was convenient, the room was warm and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious.

Oriel made our honeymoon feel special from the moment we arrived. He’s a lovely hotel manager, and he lit the fire, shared helpful tips about hikes and ski fields, and made sure we had enough water for the trip home. While we played chess in the lovely lounge, he even offered us drinks and snacks. We’re grateful for how welcome he made us feel, and think he’s doing a wonderful job managing the hotel. We hope to come back in summer. Thank you, Oriel!

Breakfast was a real highlight each morning, with fresh fruit juices, coffee, croissants, jams and typical Spanish meats. Our room was roomy, had spare blankets, and offered both a bath and a shower for after skiing. The heaters were good for drying wet gloves too. There was plenty of parking nearby, and we were welcomed with friendly service. Vielha is under a 20 minute drive away, making this a handy base for the local ski slopes. We'd choose to stay here again next time.
