La Posada de Leza

The local area gave us lovely walks in the beautiful countryside, nearby towns to visit, and wineries and bodegas to sample. The hosts, Terri & Robert, were brilliant. They gave us a warm welcome, showed us the facilities, and were available with helpful ideas for day trips and things to see. La Posada de Leza is a traditional village house full of thoughtful details. We loved the authentic txoko dining area downstairs for evenings with friends. The house was immaculate, spotless, spacious, and traditionally decorated, with all the modern comforts you'd expect. The bed was exceptionally luxurious and comfortable. It's on a quiet residential street in Leza, so it's peaceful in the evenings, and the little bar across the road is handy for enjoying the friendly local atmosphere. We have no complaints and can thoroughly recommend it. We'll definitely return. Congratulations to Terri and Robert. It's lovely to find a hidden gem with such proper, professional hospitality. Leza's main square is a lovely spot, where locals gather for coffee, wine, beer, tapas, and full meals. The community pool was a nice extra in the warm weather, and we visited several nearby wineries. The hosts were perfect, and they'd thought of everything. Few places in Spain offer such an authentic stay: everything felt new and top quality while preserving the original décor. I felt transported back in time and thoroughly pampered at once.
