The room was spotless and the bathroom was amazing. We arrived late, at 11:30pm, and the family who run the hotel were so welcoming. They even waited while we had a quick dinner before opening their personal garage for us. We had surfboards on the roof of the car, and they let us park it there. Highly recommended!

I emailed the hotel a couple of times asking for the invoice, but got no reply. At checkout, the receptionist had said it would be sent by email for our room booked through Booking.com, but it never came. Very bad service. And to answer the owner, yes, it was your hotel, Errekalde. I’ve attached a picture with the reservation dates.

We stayed one night on the way to Portugal and plan to come back for a longer visit to explore this part of the Basque Country. It’s a very nice hotel just over the French-Spanish border, with a very good breakfast at a good price.

The place was clean and the guys were kind, but we couldn’t sleep all night because a fire alarm kept ringing. Some clients had been smoking in their room, but they could at least have given us a discount for that night. Don’t recommend.

The staff made us feel so welcome and were really helpful, especially Imigo and Jean. The hotel felt like a home from home, and we’d definitely stay again. We can’t recommend it enough.
